For me it’s canon. it explains so many things.
- Why brenda continued to work for wicked.
She is strong and independant, i’m sure she could have escaped and live on her own.My headcanon is that Ava noticed Brendas issues with how WCKD worked, just like she had, so they became a team.
- I always assumed that WCKD were the one sending her in the Scorch, and it was in a sense it was, but I bet it Ava that picked Brenda and Jorge from all the immunes.
